Hi John,
Just a little note to say how much we all enjoyed staying in your lovely
house on Marco Island. It really was beautiful and although the weather
could have been better it didn't deter us. We meant to write some
comments in the house diary but ran out of time on our last day !!
Just a few ideas and comments, which I hope, may be of use to future
visitors.
We started collecting a few menus, taxi numbers and places of interest,
which we attached to the fridge by the fridge magnets - we also noticed
that Marco Island has its own free newspaper, which gives details
of forthcoming events, music at restaurants, etc. All these may help
others not familiar with the Island if they know these are available.
The boys (men!) found out that the best way of catching fish from your
dock was by using live shrimp and fishing near the docks. I guess many
of your guests would know that anyway but those that don't could be
interested. We were well into the second week when they realized this
and then there was no stopping them...the fish certainly enjoyed
shrimp!!
These are just a couple of comments …
I'm so glad we found you and
Marco Island…be assured we shall return !

I just wanted to
tell you what a great time we had at your beautiful house. We took our
parents after a difficult winter. We were not sure that they would have
a good time.
Let me tell you
that it was the happiest time I have seen them have in many years! Our
parents lived on the Lanai for two weeks where they watched the sunset
every night on the Lanai. It was incredible for them.
Your house was
very well maintained in facility and cleanliness. The Landscaping was
impressive. With all the details and extras in the house this
vacation turned out to be the best we have ever had. The kids lived in the pool during the
day and sometimes at night (with the heated pool).
Your house is
positioned very close to the beach, which was just a quick drive. We had
dinner at the restaurant on the beach a couple of times and watched the
sunset. We even watched the fireworks on the beach on July 4th. We are
hooked and will be back every year.
I also wanted to
compliment you on your personal and friendly care when answering any
questions we had. In dealing with you, there were no surprises and
everything was 100% as you had stated. We can't wait to come back!
Please tell anyone to call us as a reference.

Thanks very much for the
best Spring Break Vacation we've had as a family! Joan, and the kids
and I had had a marvelous time. The combination of the privacy of your
home, coupled with the offerings of Marco Island were truly memorable.
Your home was extremely comfortable with a great location to boot! It
was obvious to us that you've worked very hard to make your home a great
vacation spot for all who stay there - thank you...
I do need to bring to
your attention a couple of things that occurred while we were there...
During the first night of our stay, my son and I used one of your
fishing poles. We placed it on the dock and did not secure it.
Unfortunately, a fish pulled the whole rig off the dock and it was
lost. I replaced it with a new Shimano rig, which is hanging in your
garage…
Finally, thanks again for
a great vacation. Joan and the kids and I want to reserve your home for
the same week in 2005. Please let me know if this is acceptable, and
we'll send you a deposit to hold the dates.

Dear John & Janet,
We wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time in Marco Island.
We got married on the beach last Saturday. It was a wonderful time with
the help of your gorgeous home. We loved your place and hope to have many
more joyous times there.
You two are the nicest. Thank you sooo much for your
card and bottle of wine. We could not believe you took the time to do something
so nice for us. Our time at your home will always be remembered since we were
married, and spent the most incredible days of our lives there. Thank you.

We are home!!! What a nice place. Ed and I had a great time. Today was
the hottest day since we arrived and we had to go.

Just wanted
to let you know we really enjoyed your house on Marco. It was lovely and
the landscaping was
beautiful!
Hopefully, we can visit again down there. There was not one thing I can
say that was not a good comment. The bikes were nice and we also used
the fishing rods too.

Just to say
we had a super time at your villa and thoroughly enjoyed the area, we
even saw a pair of mantees by your boat dock a couple of days running.
It was nice to see you albeit briefly and I hope you had a good flight
back to New York the next day. We are now thinking of next year and
would certainly like to return to your villa in the very near future (
perhaps for a longer stay!). Have a good Christmas and Happy New Year.

Janet,
We had a
great time and your house is beautiful! We really enjoyed ourselves. The
weather was perfect, 80's and sunny!! My Dad had a very enjoyable and
restful time. He gained 6 pounds, which he needed. They did a little
fishing but no luck. We sure did enjoy sitting by the pool. Your boat is
very nice!
